【我的南京旅行经历英语作文】Last summer, I had the opportunity to visit Nanjing, a city with a rich history and beautiful scenery. It was my first time going there, and I was very excited about the trip.
Nanjing is known as one of China's ancient capitals, and it has many historical sites. One of the places I visited was the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. The path leading up to the mausoleum was very long, but the view from the top was breathtaking. I could see the whole city of Nanjing spread out before me, with the Yangtze River flowing in the distance.
Another place that impressed me was the Confucius Temple. It is a famous cultural area in the city, filled with traditional buildings, shops, and delicious local food. I tried some famous snacks like Xiaolongbao (steamed dumplings) and Zhonghua Mian (Chinese noodles), which were really tasty.
I also went to the Nanjing Museum, where I learned a lot about the history of the city and the country. The museum had a large collection of ancient artifacts, including pottery, paintings, and calligraphy works. It was amazing to see how much history was preserved there.
In the evenings, I often walked along the banks of the Yangtze River. The city lights reflected on the water, creating a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. It was a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing.
Overall, my trip to Nanjing was very enjoyable. I not only saw many interesting places but also gained a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and history. I would definitely like to visit Nanjing again in the future.
