原文:
桃花坞里桃花庵,桃花庵下桃花仙;
酒醒只在花前坐,酒醉还来花下眠;
但愿老死花酒间,不愿鞠躬车马前;
若将富贵比贫贱,一在平地一在天;
别人笑我太疯癫,我笑他人看不穿;
In the peach grove stands the Peach Blossom Hermitage,
Underneath which blooms the Peach Blossom Immortal.
The Peach Blossom Immortal plants peach trees,
And plucks peach blossoms to trade for wine.
When sober, he sits before the flowers; when drunk, he sleeps beneath them.
Day after day in half-drunken daze,
Year after year as petals fall and bloom anew.
I’d rather grow old amidst wine and flowers than bow to carriages and horses.
The wealthy find joy in their carriages and horses,
While the poor have their cups of wine and flower branches.
If wealth is compared with poverty,
One lives on flat land while the other soars high.
If poverty is compared with carriages and horses,
They get to drive and I get to stay at leisure.
Others laugh at my madness, but I laugh at their lack of insight.
Look not upon the tombs of heroes of old—
Without flowers or wine, they are now just fields tilled by plows.
